With every year there always comes the "resolution", time to turn over a new leaf, stop something you don't want to do and/or start something fresh and anew.  As I wrote in December, I had very little inspiration (or time) to make any of my gifts this year. I usually make at least something for the grandkids.  Not this year, nope, nada, zilch.  I wanted to but life just got in the way.  I did manage to make a basket and trivet for a friend of my daughter's who was there for her during a difficult time.  Once she acknowledged that she received the box, I was going to post a tutorial but I haven't got that written yet,  I'm going to share pictures here now and work on writing a tutorial when my brain isn't so tired. 

This was really fun.  I used a pattern I got in one of the Google communities I belong to.  As I usually do, I changed it up a little, put a vinyl base on it and finished it off differently than the instructions and "ta da", a really cute bucket for whatever you'd like to carry from this place to that.
